GHF is launching its first ever “Learn to Carve for Beginners” class. In this beginners-level class, participants will learn to carve a traditional style shál (spoon) from keishísh (alder).
The class is an intensive and will be held from Dec. 9 to Dec. 12th.
Registration is open to all interested participants. However, priority will be given to Goldbelt Shareholders and Tlingit & Haida Tribal Citizens.
There is a $40 materials fee that is required to participate in the class. However, Goldbelt shareholders who would like their materials fee covered by a Non-Degree Scholarship and have not exceeded their yearly $500 maximum may apply for the scholarship on the application.
