GHF is offering a skin sewing class in Juneau, December 16-18. The class will be held on the SHI campus and is being co-sponsored by Goldbelt, Inc. and Tlingit & Haida. Participants will each receive a full sea otter or beaver hide to use for their project and they may keep any remnants. Each student will have the opportunity to make a hat, scarf, or both if time permitting.
The materials fee for the class is $250. Goldbelt shareholders may elect to use the Non-Degree Scholarship if they have not yet reached their maximum yearly allocation.
