Working Together to Support Language, Culture, and Community

GHF’s work is grounded in collaboration. We partner with tribal organizations, schools, artists, educators, and community groups to support Lingi language revitalization, cultural education, and community wellbeing across Southeast Alaska.

We do not duplicate or compete with the work of our partners. Instead, we focus on coordination, shared responsibility, and long-term relationships, recognizing that language and culture are sustained through collective effort.

Our Relationship to Goldbelt, Inc.

Goldbelt Heritage Foundation was established by Goldbelt, Inc. and shares a long history and values with the corporation. However, GHF operates as an independent nonprofit organization and does not manage Goldbelt, Inc. shareholder services, scholarships, or corporate programs.

How We Work Together

GHF collaborates with partners in a variety of ways, depending on community needs and program goals. Partnerships may include:

  • Co-developing curriculum and educational resources
  • Supporting language documentation and revitalization efforts
  • Hosting joint events, summits, and cultural programs
  • Providing funding, staffing, or administrative support
  • Sponsoring or stewarding cultural projects and artists

Our partnerships evolve over time and are guided by respect, capacity, and cultural responsibility. Organizations and individuals interested in exploring partnership opportunities are encouraged to reach out to begin a conversation about shared goals and community impact.
