The Culture & Arts Program currently manages the Haa At.oowú Haa Kusteeyíx̱ Sitee, “Our At.oowú is Our Way of Life,” grant, a three-year Alaska Native Education Program (ANEP) award that supports cultural learning, traditional knowledge, and community-based education. This grant is active through July 2027 and is funded under Award Number S356A240075.

Current Projects: In the current year (Year 2), grant-supported work includes the construction of a traditional dugout canoe by Wayne Price. This project emphasizes traditional craftsmanship, the transmission of cultural knowledge, and hands-on learning while supporting community engagement and youth-focused educational programming.
