Youth Wellness Advisory Board

GHF seeks Alaska Native or American Indian youth who would like to serve on GHF’s Youth Wellness Advisory Board (YWAB).  As board members, participants will:

  1. Work together with GHF staff and volunteers to provide feedback on the creation of an online manual for suicide prevention in our community.
  2. Provide feedback on our GHF identity and self-care curriculum.
  3. Help to plan and prepare for our kéex’ for GHF’s Healing Yaakw, scheduled for October 10th, 2025.
  4. Participate in meetings and various cultural activities at least twice a month.

Camps are generally held in the summer during months of June or July.

Through grant funding and generous support from local Native organization, GHF can offer most camps and activities free-of-change to participants.
