In honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness & Recovery Month, GHF is pleased to join the Juneau Suicide Prevention Coalition, Four A’s, Alaska Division of Public Health, Tlingit & Haida, and One People Canoe Society in hosting a community picnic and canoe healing journey event. The event will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 11am-3pm at Sandy Beach in Juneau, Alaska.
Activities will include:
- Healing Room and Memorial Activities
- Sandwich Bar and Traditional Foods
- Drumming and Dance Groups
- Narcan Training and Recovery Resources
