Farewell from GHF’s Executive Director

After just over three years of service as Executive Director, I am filled with a mix of emotions as I prepare to depart the Goldbelt Heritage Foundation at the end of this month. As I reflect back on the organization that GHF was when I first arrived, I am amazed by the incredible growth and accomplishments that have been achieved in just a few short years.

I recognize that these successes are not my alone, but those of our collective team of GHF staff, board, and supporters. The dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment of the GHF team is the cornerstone of our success and the foundation on which new cultural programming and educational opportunities will be built. I am proud to have been a part of this amazing organization and I cannot wait to see the heights that GHF will reach in the future.

Finally, I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who have stepped up to support me during my tenure here at GHF. Your camaraderie, mentorship, friendship, and encouragement have been the compass that has helped me steer GHF through every challenge. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I have had to lead this amazing organization as its Executive Director and the pleasure of working with such an incredible team and serving such an amazing community.

Gunalcheésh,

Desiree Jackson
