GHF is offering two moccasin making classes this November-December.
The first session will run on Saturdays, beginning November 12th through December 17th. Each class will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The second session is an intensive weekend class that will run November 19-22. Both classes will meet at the Generations Southeast Community Learning Center located at 3239 Hospital Drive in Juneau.
Registration is open to all interested participants. However, priority will be given to Goldbelt Shareholders and Tlingit & Haida Tribal Citizens.
There is a $75 materials fee that is required to participate in the class. However, Goldbelt shareholders who would like their materials fee covered by a Non-Degree Scholarship and have not exceeded their yearly $500 maximum may apply for the scholarship on the application.
